I’m Corentin Giaufer Saubert.

When I'm not coding, you can find me on the chessboard or soaring high on the wings of a TIE, pursuing my never-ending quest to find The Little Prince. I'm also passionate about cinema, whether films, series, or anime! In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and training for volleyball.

My love for chess began in childhood, starting with casual play before joining a club to satisfy my growing hunger for the game. After competing throughout my teenage years, I now focus on improving my chess skills and integrating my passion for coding. Currently, I work for a chess company, ChessMood, and contribute to the chess developer community, in addition to moderating for Chess.com on Twitch.

For as long as I can remember, The Little Prince has held a particular bearing on my heart. A story so simple yet so layered, so childish yet so subtle. A story that has colored my dreams ever since I read it. The Little Prince became a guiding star in my sky. That is how I first came into contact with the world of aviation, which I later fell in love with. My interest has been unwavering across the years; I started taking flying lessons during adolescence and am currently completing my PPL (Private Pilot's License).

I code for a living but also as a passion

Currently, I'm studying for a BSC. Computer Science at the IU International University of Applied Sciences. I'm a freelance backend developer and I've been working on several projects for the past years...

My main programming language is Golang but I've worked with java, python, typescript, C/C++ and more. I have experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB and I'm familiar with Docker, Docker Compose and even Podman. I'm a passionate open-source enthusiast and have been contributing to several projects for a few years now. I've also created Memnix, a free and open-source flashcard app for Android and Web.

I like to manage communities and I'm currently the founder of The Kafejo a Discord community for developers and students. I'm a devoted Linux enthusiast, using Bluefin (Fedora Silverblue) as my main operating system
